When I went to the sea, I heard a strange growling voice from somewhere. I then found that a big octopus was clinging on to the face of a seal. The seal could not breathe under such a circumstance, so I removed the octopus from the seal by pulling the octopus out from the neck of the seal. I am not scared of an octopus.
Born in Antalya in 1929.
Is a son of a family who migrated from Cyprus in 1923 at the time of Population Exchange scheme. Worked as a fisherman when he was a senior high school student (and probably continued to be engaged in the fishery as his side business). Worked as an engineer at the Waterworks Bureau in Antalya for 36 years. As a trusted engineer, he was asked to marry with the daughter of eSefa Hamami (Turkish Bath)f. His present wife is from his second marriage. |
